Guest guest
Dear Crystal- Thank you for the reminders ) My mother-in-law was famously good at this basic day-to-day life stuff - and so non-chalant about it that I never felt anxious or flustered. It was almost as if I was doing her a favor by accepting the stuff and not making a fuss over the bother! I know that sometimes your own mother-in-law seems to miss the picture entirely and I hope my warm mother-in-law story doesn't make you feel that sadness again. My own mother is famously self-absorbed and can't fathom that has anything differently than anyone else! Drives my mother-in-law (and us) batty! As for trusting anyone with , after we lost nursing, we didn't have anyone. Then we had two more after him - each as unique in their care as , just not medically remarkable. By the time I could leave I was leaving all three, and now takes care of himself ) Thank you again- yuka Re: if you were coming home now.... Well my mom came over a lot the 1st month and helped upkeep the house. It was so helpful, the most helpful thing my mother in law did was she bought some odds and ends we needs like snacks and toilet paper. Sometimes the littlest things are the best things. Also when people offered to watch the boys for me was very helpful so I could catch up on sleep while Eva slept. I never trusted anyone to really watch Eva til she was much older.
