Guest guest
Hey Chip- Well, this one just wasn't what you thought it was. You didn't have all the details just from what the newspaper said. But, as you say, : At least I had some experience in the interview today and that's worthwhile. Have you ever thought about food preperation? 's counselor said there are definitely jobs available where you don't have to lift anything heavy, and you can go at a comfortable pace. Some kitchens are very fast and busy. But there are other kitchens that might be more comfortable for you. Any interest in that direction? Did you get to take the aptitude test yet? The one that gives you more of an idea of where your interests lie? I really, really admire your stick-to-it'ness. You've found jobs before; it will happen again. As long as you are looking, you're in the race! ;-) in Ma. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
hope you will be better next time. have you read my email of my intruduce of charge. any subject you guys talk about from chargelist. if i can remember to ask any of you just curious about in july. michele s I'm back from the job interview Hey Guys! I'm back from the job interview, sigh! I guess I got so excited, I forgot to bring copies of my certificates, and I did re-read that post from Craiglist Job Ad which said '20-25 hrs per week', right? Well, that's the confusing part. I did well on the interview, cuz Randall and I praticted my interviews earlier this morning. I just had to speak up louder, lol! The confusing part about the ad, I thought this lady meant 'weekday' when she put down 'per week', right? But, she said no, she meant 'weekend!' I'm all like, 'What? No weekdays?' I asked her what is it like working there, like what do they do? She said that for me, if I wanted work there, I would have to work by myself, all alone on a early Sunday morning, taking care of the dogs from 7am to 10am! Well, I don't know....Randall noticed by the look on my face and my way of signing in sign langauge, that I'm having a 2nd thought of it and decided to keep it on hold. He understand that I only travel around by buses, that I live in Duarte, and also got some physical limintations too! Cuz, the lady told me I would have to handle like 50-100 lbs dogs, beside the little doggies, right? Sigh, I guess I shouldn't got so excited and get another usual reality check versus my limintations ya know. My mom doesn't feel comfortable about me working all alone on a early weekend morning, being around a bunch of big dogs. Cuz, what if I get hurt/injure and there's no one to help me? Right? Remember Doggy Time, how I used to get injured all the time and no one watched me getting hurt? I don't want to go through that again! Randall said it's up to me, he said talk it over with my mom and brother and let him know on Monday. If I don't want it, don't feel comfortable, transportation problem (I just recently found out that both bus and train schedule are different on weekend, making it impossibe for me to get there at 7am. If it was on a weekday, then it would of been more easier and flexiable for me), then he can drop it, tell the lady I can't cuz of transportation problem, alright? Sorry about that guys, but I guess I might have to look for another job with a more suitable, comfortable schedule for me. I rather work on weekdays and get weekends off, not the other way around! Anyway, back to the old drawing board again, lol! At least I had some experience in the interview today (the lady also noticed that I didn't finish the application, cuz I tend to write slow ya know), kinda like deja vu experience similiar from 2 yrs ago, at this Dog Bath Express, when I ran into the same problem, and told my job developer to drop it, forget about it too! Anyway, that's all for now. Maybe something better will come up soon, thanks! Ol' Chipper > --------------------------------- Don't get soaked. Take a quick peak at the forecast with theYahoo!
