Guest guest
I just saw this in the files I still haven't looked over completely from the Indian BioMed Autism Spectrum group, about adrenal insufficiency and copper in the context of ASD. I'm not sure how this applies to NT, but as what is *now* considered ASD (the neurological problems and *widespread* metabolic problems) could just be a subset of a much much larger set of problems caused by environmental chemical and metal toxicity.. It might apply. Zinc levels are generally low in ASD aparently, and copper high, and the zinc deficiency renders copper toxic somehow. Zinc is also important to the immune system - which could be important in AF even outside the context of immunity. 9. Adrenal Support & Copper Adrenal insufficiency is seen in 70-80% of autistic children, resulting from stress. Stress, lead and mercury interfere with ceruloplasmin synthesis, contributing to copper toxicity. Copper toxicity causes “mind racing” – an increase in excitatory neurotransmitters resulting in an inability to stop thoughts. Jim
Guest guest
hi jim i have high copper and low zinc and trying to correct this by taking zinc and mn and staying away from cu. you might wish to check for `pyruluria` at web. bw Nil Adrenals and copper/zinc ratios..
