Guest guest
Hello everybody, I had my ferritin checked and it is 91.3 with a range of 11.0-307.0. Is that good?I also got some Thyroid-S, but haven't started it yet. I'm skeered, lol. My saliva test last May showed free t3 was <10. So if that is accurate I know i need to start it. I am the one with peripheral artery disease. I take Isocort (8 a day since May 07) and it sure helps the fatigue. I feel much better now than I did a year ago after taking all the vitamins and sea salt and changing my diet for the better.I am on 50 mcg Levoxyl since Sept. 06.Generic before that for about 9 months. The Thyroid-S is 60mcg and a few of you said to start at 1/2 of that for a week or 2? And will I get other symptoms that I don't have now when it is time to raise? I just don't want to get fast heart beat or pounding heart(had the pounding for 15 minutes last Feb. and that was enough for me.)Or any symptoms that will send me to the ER.I am 55 and have custody of 21 month old grandaughter that I need to try and be around for,and do things with, until my daughter can become responsible.I think she's hypo too but she won't go get checked. Thanks in advance for advice...and support. This group is wonderful! Guest guest
Your Ferritin is good! With well supported adrenals I doubt you will have any problems with the Thyroid-S. Start slowly at 30mg (1/2 grains daily) and in a couple weeks double that and then we will see how you are. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
