Guest guest
I don't know what to tell this guy. I can't handle thyroid meds without adrenal support, but all the temp charts show that when I take adrenal stuff my temps drop like a rock. Even without taking any, in the AM my cortisol levels are the highest (13), and my temps are the lowest (95s and 96s). Then as the day goes on, my cortisol levels drop to 0-1, and that's when my temperatures are the most stabilized, at 97.7. In the evening, the cortisol levels start going back up again, to 3 at midnight, and my temps drop correspondingly: 97.3, 97.0, 96.8, etc. When I tell this guy I can't handle the smallest amount of thyroid without crashing, I know he's going to ask why I think I need cortisol if the temps keep going down whenever the cortisol goes up. That seems to say I need thyroid, not cortisol. Actually, I don't even really understand that myself, unless it's just because the adrenal function is so weak, or there's some pituitary feedback problem? He measured plasma cortisol -- it was around 3PM so it should be at its lowest and maybe there's an in there -- but otherwise, what should I do? -Jeff
