Guest guest Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 Val, Can you tell me how to discontinue Cortisol SR. My doctor says she wants me be on only 5 mg. I know it is not good to just stop it cold turkey. I am currently taking 7 mg of Cortisol SR and a HC cream. So it is around 10 mg. I am not feeling good and feel that I am not getting any T3 to the cells. I couldn't sleep last night and am feeling depressed. I started all this in December. Could it be possible to have healed that quickly. My blood cortisol test was .30 Range .20-1.80. Can high cortisol make you depressed and maybe not get the T3 to the cells? I feel anxious every time I take my Cortisol. When I DC would I feel bad for a few days as it clears my system? The reason I am thinking it could be possible is that I feel bad right away after taking the Cortisol SR. Do you think I should just continue for two weeks.
