This is a quote from Dr. 's book, pg 138,

Conversely, foods high in potassium such as fruit (especially bananas and

dried figs) make adrenal fatigue worse. This is another reason you should avoid

fruit and fruit juices in the morning. Not only do they contain a significant

amount of fructose (fruit sugar), they also contain high amounts of potassium.

This results in a danger ous duo for people with hypoadrenia. A nice Healthy

fruit and yogurt breakfast will put a log of hypoadrenic people on the floor.

In fact, one sign of hypoadrenia is increased fatigue or shakiness after a high

fruit breakfast.

The reference that I mentioned earlier about the CFS and FMS came from one of

his audio lectures, I ordered the CD's from his website when I placed the order

for my inventory. I'm sure they sell them at retail, too. I think it was under

$10....

While I sort of agree with this, some of us hypoadrenal people DO need

potassium as well. I am not one of them, my potassium is always good on

labs, and eating high potassium foods does dip me in the dirt! LOL But

others on here have BOTH low potassium adn low sodium so thye need both.

I do nto think eating fruit for breakfast is a good idea for anyone due

to the sugar content, but I eat my banana for luch when I feel the need

for a bit of potassium wiht the TON of sea salt I need especuially in

the summer.
