Guest guest
It sounds to me like you are NOT on the right dose of the right one. Please don't give up hope! Another one might work better for you. Or one that will be invented and available a few days from now, or next week,or a month. Or the same one at a higher dose. You don't have to suffer as much as this! Also, there are those other therapies I mentioned. tryptophan can be taken with most AD's and works synergistically. Both work together much better than either works apart. A book to read, " The Omega 3 connection. " Do NOT confuse it with, " The Omega Connection. " That's a different book. Even though I am unipolar I have found taking omega 3 fish oil at bipolar treatment levels, does help, and not just my brain but my scaly skin. But all this works WITH the antidepressants, not without them. Hensley <>, 8-) Dawn said. That 'magic pill' made me able to function .... just, I have never been able to enjoy my life, it is a rollercoaster of fear, anxiety, and what if those obsessive unreal terrifying thoughts come back. When they do you get a shock in the pit of your stomach and you 'leave this Earth'. I suffer depression constantly at various levels. As you say, never judge until you have walked in someone else's moccasins.
Guest guest
Thanks hun I am still on the little blue pill because we cannot get off them without SEVERE withdrawals, there are a lot of us and sites devoted to getting us off them. My problem is I seem to be suffering from poop out, it isnt working properly so I am getting a certain amount of withdrawal without actually coming off the meds theory is depletion of domamine over years of enhanced seratonin from these particular class of drugs. It is not like water stored chemicals, these are fat stored and often take months to release from the cells so withdrawal is hard and long. Electric shock feelings through the brain, acute anxiety, severe dizziness and unsteadiness, flu symptoms, vivid nightmares are just some of the symptoms. How I wish I had had more info on the types of AD prior to taking them and that they had not told me they were easy to get off. Because soon with this poop out I am going to have to come off whether I like it or not. All that and wanting to change to Armour and get my adrenals working better at the same time is a little daunting. Thanks for the words of encouragement Liz and I am glad you are stable on yours, I am happy for you luv Dawnx
