Fasting from t3 before testing

How many hours should one wait before testing ft3? I know most people

say to not take the morning dose....but I already have taken it, and

am wondering if I could test, say maybe at around 5 p.m.? I took it

at 9:a.m.....that would be 8 hrs. Is that enough?
