Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Hope all is well and having a great summer. Today, JD made me cry. My best friend, gave me a 4-in-1 bathtub set before the kids were born. Olivia in the bathtub unsupported, playing and starting to bathe herself. With JD, we had been using the ring that goes inside the tub because I was always afraid that he would not have good balance and fall forward or even backwards. For the past couple of weeks I have been working with him and starting to take the ring out and I would still have to put my hand on his back because I was afraid to let go. I think that is a mommy thing. Today I put decided to take him in the bathroom with me and he sat on the floor watching me get the water ready. I put him in and just let go. OMG...He had so much fun. Kept his balance, didn't fall back or forward, just smiling, kicking and laughing. It took a long time, but he did it. I am so proud of him and just want to tell everyone. He is also reaching for his little toy box, pulling it towards him, and turning it over. He sure can throw his toys pretty far and he likes to get his blanket, towel and play peek-a-poo. Oh, and he is also starting to wipe his nose. He learned that from Olivia. Olivia is doing great as well and getting into everything she can see and fine. She sure does keep me and on our toes. If is not her then it is JD. I think they have something going on together. This evening when it was time for her to go to bed, she walked over to JD and kissed him on the forehead. She really loves her bubba, that is what she calls him. Well, we have a busy week this week with doctors appointments and 's upcoming nose surgery. Take care &, parents to twins: Olivia : potty training, walking, running the house, talking, saying no all the time and JD(cHArgE: Choanal Atresia, Heart Repair, TE-F Repair, G-Tube, Trach, on CPap w/ O2 at Night, severe to profound hearing loss, dumping syndrome ) 21 months, Waxahachie, Texas ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
