Guest guest
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I have taken a couple of days off University...needed breathing space to think about things, I feel lucky that I have a great personal tutor, who is not only a midwife for 30 plus years but a genetic counsellor too, shes heard of CHARGE and very empathetic to the situation, which helps. Was cross today as I kept nagging yesterday at how pale she looked and she slept for hours, she never sleeps during the day! Amélie was supposed to have had bloods in the morning which didnt get done until the evening, the result were given to my hubby this morning, Hb was down to 8.5, rang the ward to ask why it had taken 24 hours to get them done and a further 12 hours for the results!! had a moan or two and calmer now for letting the steam off... I feel pressure building back up, its the hospitalisation of it all, we all have too many and so much to contend with. sometimes its so unfair, Amélie's consultant was lovely and asked would I like to speak to someone maybe counselling !! she said the nurse commented I always look down and grumpy...WELL I AM GRUMPY...of course I am...sick of wards with no staff, no-one to leave her with whilst I see the other kids, its bound to be depressing. We move to the new hospital tomorrow so thats bound to be distressing as no-one knows her there! so were all going to be out of our comfort zone! love Les x
