Guest guest
I was told by doctor to place them in a zip-loc bag, put water in the bag to moisten (in order for pills to disintegrate), then put bag in trash. That way, they cannot be used by anyone, in case someone finds them. Guest guest
They will still get into the ground water though, from any landfill. Unless the container/plastic bag stays intact forever. I don't think bags or bottles stay intact in the landfill here, as it is all plowed and stomped down with heavy bulldozers. I'm really beginning to re-think what I buy, a lot of it ends up unused, due to my inability to take things I thought would work. Plus even what we do take, much of it ends up passing out in our urine. Adding to toxic load in the environment, contaminating rivers and streams and groundwater. No easy answers. sol genbuggy wrote: > I was told by doctor to place them in a zip-loc bag, put water in the > bag to moisten (in order for pills to disintegrate), then put bag in > trash.
