If I need it quickly, I just apply to wrists or ankles, and I can feel it in minutes, certainly not more than 1/2 hour, and usually less than that. It must just be due to individual differences, because the cream works very well for me. I can't tell much difference between a pill dose and a cream dose. Except too many pill doses and I get stomach irritation, even eating with every dose. I should state again though, that I started with cream and ramped up on it. It is the pills that are uncommon for me to use. Once a person knows how they should feel on either cream or pill HC, it seems logical to dose to that effect, and not get too hung up on a dose number. Absorption issues either way can make a significant difference. sol >
