Guest guest
Dearest Flo- Your reply made me smile - thank you deeply for that ) Reminders from you and Martha to breathe were literally quite helpful - I was breathing the shallow breath of prey animals. The one thing I noticed that sustains me is to enjoy the driving ) It has become my version of " walking meditation " . The time with my children in the car is delightful undistracted talk time. The time I drive to fetch them is my meditation - completely restorative, unlike errand driving - where I mull, rethink and plot ) It is humbling and delightful to bask in my sons talk amongst each other and bask in their ever increasing competence and independence. Sometimes though - my three sons and my husband seem to gang up on me and all want what they want now all at the same time - and then I short circuit - like an electrical outlet in a pool of water.... ) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzap! oh, and I never leave insanity - that helps - the lack of contrast ;o) lovelovelove y Re: Thank You! Congrats to through his graduation. And Yuka, I felt tired just reading your post. And when you have a moment, you breathe! Enjoy all the good bits (of which there seem to have been plenty!) and hopefully these will have energised you to deal with the med appointments. Summers seem to be full of activity don't they? We have two sports days, a family picnic at school, an international evening, a summer concert, prize giving, an IEP; and no comment on med and therapy appointments! And the girls are only 4 and 7! Please tell me how you make it to teen years with sanity intact since you seem to do it so well! Enjoy enjoy enjoy and tell us more.
