Hi ,

It's not ignorant at all. I'm sure Val will weigh in tomorrow, butI'm here to

tell ya - when I got on enough Armour thyroid, I was able to wean the

antidepressant that I had needed for every winter for the last 12 years. I think

that is significant. I think that when you start to treat your adrenals and/or

thryoid you may find the same to be true for you.

" the millions of crazy symptoms I have had since the crash were

in my head. "

This is the plight of many of us here. My brother thinks im a

hypochondriac and many have to deal with this kind of non

understanding. If they havnt experienced it,it cant be true. but YOU

know its true,so they all can go....

Once you get your adrenals and thyroid sorted out which may take some

time, things will change. Saliva test will help a lot.

Do let others convince you that what you feel cant be true, they arent

in your body and cant possibly know. .

Hi , I have taken antidepressants many of them SSRI's, paxil

prozac , zoloft and the tricyclics-doxepin,imipramine, tazadone, and

I also took benzodiazipines for about eight years, and I took

buspar too. I think if you REALLY need them and they work for you

that you should take them. but if they work so so and you have side

effects from them I think one should wean off of them and try treating

the anxiety and depression with nutrition and diet.

I have had anxiety and depression problems since back in high

school. and to think that these problems could have been thyroid and

adrenal starting back then makes me very mad. because I have taken

so many meds that I did not need to take, and I think that they

have screwed up my health even more. some of these meds have

fluoride in them , not good for the thyroid.

Your symptoms could be caused by your thyroid and adrenals being out

of whack. serotonin balance can be helped with diet and

supplementation most of the time. and your not ignorant, your

learning. never apologize for asking questions, we all ask questions

and learn from one an another.

I think with proper thyroid/adrenal treatment you may not need these but

it is fine to stay in them while you work on the thyroid and adrenals as

long as you know which sympotoms are form the meds and which are from

the thyroid and adrenal meds.
