Guest guest
I switched from Isocort 4-4-3-2 to Prednisone 5mg am, 2.5mg noon, 1.25mg late afternoon on Wednesday this week. My blood sugars have stabilized since starting the prednisone. Last weekend when I found I was hypoglycemic I was as low as 59, since starting the prednisone my lows have been in the 70s. I increased my Armour to 2.5grains from 2 grains 3 weeks ago. I am encouraged with the results I seen this week - I even got on my rowing machine (slow pace) x 15 minutes today without bottoming out my blood sugar... I am tempted to up the Armour this week another 1/4 grain (my temps still are below normal) - what do you think?
Guest guest
I think you need to slow things down. You are on ALOT of steroids with 8.25 mg pred daily. That equals 33mg of HC. I would try to lower that dose a bit. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
