HELP my computer crashed!!!

Ok my computer crashed and then I restarted it using the last known stable

system. it went all the way back to factory defults. Now it shows when i

click on admin user, a picture that was previously on my computer. I want to

know how to restore or find files that seem to be hidden and i cant just

surch them. my pictures, word files and all my mp3s are gone!

Somoene please help! my internet connection is the same and all software i

have ever added to my computer is on my computer, its just the files are

gone!
