Guest guest
Potassium Low 3.90 (rg 3.5 - 5.5) Sodium 139 (rg 135-148) You probably could use Florinef. The low potassium is a compensatory effect of your body trying to balance the low sodium. Without Florinef I would suggest high potassium foods and lots of sea salt, with Florinef you will still need ot bering the potassium up along wiht the sodium. Ferritin, Serum 19 (rg 10-291) OUCH!!! You need some serious iron supplementation here! 150-200 mg daily of elemental iron. I would not do much more wiht thyroid raises until you get the Ferritin loking better. It WILL cause bad sympotms if it isn;t already. Your cortiosl is in the dirt., Have you had testig for pituitary problems? An ACTH stinm test wiould be best before getting inot cortils treatment, IWth cortisol that low and needing sodium and potassium, I fear there may be more here than just weak adrenals. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
