My doc wants me to start at 15 mg-- that's a quarter grain, right?will 15 mg really help? scared and a little confused, but tired of feeling so lousy. My most recent tsh was 7.3, but i've never been lower than 2. highest was an 8.5. I'm always higher in the winter. do you really think i need to go on thyroid meds? i want it to correct itself!!!! waaah! I do have hashis and have had free t3 and t4 tested, too, many times. have been using topical hc cream for two weeks now and temps have been stable for 4 days.
