Guest guest
>>i sometimes wake up in the middle of the night (like tonight!!) with extreme terror/panic/anxiety/vivid scary dreams and as if i'm going into a panic attack. << This si typical of LOW cortisol. What happens is that when cortisol runs low overnight, your blood sugar drops to a hypoglycemic state, as the brain must have a constant source of glucose to function, this is time for your body to go into emergency mode, so ti dumps out adrenaline to raise your glucose which it does rapidly. But that adrenaline is what causes th eanxiety and panic states you feel, right down to cold clammy skin, goosebumos, and sweating with a pounding heart. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
