Guest guest
Crystal and all parents who are attending the conference in July. In the registration packet you received, there were instructions on registering with KiddieCorp. If you can't find your copy, you can download it from our website. A little history on childcare at the CHARGE Conferences. All of our previous conferences had volunteers providing child care and we had some wonderful volunteers, but it was becoming increasing difficult to find enough volunteers as our conferences grew including the number of children we had in the childcare program. So in 2005 KiddieCorp, a professional organization that provides this service for meetings, came and helped us. They were able to observe what our needs were and to plan for 2007 when they hopefully would be in charge of the program. With this new program, there were some changes made in the registration information. We still asked parents to give us (the Foundation) some general information on their children but we also explained that they needed to register each child that would be attending the childcare program with KiddieCorp. You can read more about KiddieCorp at their website www.kiddiecorp.com . It is very important that you complete the registration with KiddieCorp if your child(ren) will be attending the program. Here are the instructions we put in the registration packet: *You must go online at _https://www.kiddiecorp.com/chargekids.htm_ to register with KiddieCorp for childcare. KiddieCorp is a professional organization which will be in charge of our childcare this year. Children must be pre-registered with KiddieCorp to attend the childcare program. If you do not have internet access, call the Foundation Office at for a printed copy of the forms. The advance registration deadline is June 29. * You must register each child separately and do it before the deadline. Anyone registering after June 29 will only be accepted if space is available. If you have any questions about this or anything else related to the conference, please contact Marilyn Ogan, Conference Chair (marilyn@...) or me (marion@...) or call the Foundation office . I know I have been rather repetitious in my explanation but I am concerned that everyone meets the deadline so that both children and parents will have a wonderful conference. n -- n A Norbury, Executive Director CHARGE Syndrome Foundation, Inc. 2004 Parkade Blvd, Columbia MO 65202-3121 USA phone/fax; (families only) mailto:mnorbury@... or mailto:marion@... web site: http://www.chargesyndrome.org
Guest guest
n, Should we contact someone to make sure we are registered with Kiddie Corp. I registered early on, and sent the forms in, but since you must be registered was wondering if you would recommend we contact them to make sure they got our information. Thanks, Cathie, 's mom ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Guest guest
n, just a note - I checked the link with the _ at the end and it didn't work - I took off the _ at the end and it worked as this: https://www.kiddiecorp.com/chargekids.htm I also had to call them to make a change (to add my son to the list of people able to pick her up) and they were SO super nice so if you have any trouble you can also call KiddieCorp. > > Crystal and all parents who are attending the conference in July.
