cortisol confusion question!

val, before getting labs and starting hc i had symptoms of low cortisol

but also of high, particularly the physical symptoms...moon face,

buffalo looking hump, belly weight gain (yea i know sounds delightful

huh) BUT when tested i was in stage 7 of AF with flatlined levels at

every point taken.

why would i have these physical signs if in stage 7? i'd think my

cortisol would have been high looking at me. was this a result of

cortisol being so high from previous stages and the hypo keeping me

unable to lose weight or cortisol coming down just never changing

anything? if you understand anything about this i'd really appreciate

help figuring it out!
