Guest guest
Beloved List- Thank you collectively as a community and individually to those with whom my queries resonated. I have recently posted inquiries on behalf of another family about coping with the NICU, facial palsy and insurance challenges for discharge, and your responses are so deeply appreciated and have made such a tremendous difference in helping a new family feel less alone and make less overwhelming what we can so they are better able to reserve their energy to manage the things most important - their darling son. graduates tonight !!! These last two weeks have been managed only with discipline and adherence to my calendar (which I have thus far kept accurately). As parents of three sons, one in middle school and two in high school, we have been to three award nights, one choir performance, one drama performance, one music ensemble performance, and one Graduation dinner, and that's just school. Outside of school we have had the quarterly dance at La Verne, one night at CHLA, and one night with my father visiting, These are only the night time commitments - trust the days have been full of odd dismissal times, medical appointments and continuing life. I list all this as my preface to apologizing for not thanking each of you personally ... I was able to at first, but now have fallen sadly behind - which is a lovely problem to have, because it is a result of having so many wonderful replies. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! best to everyone - looking forward to reconnecting after I re-energize sometime next week ..... ) blessings- yuka
