Guest guest
Ok, I might seem narrow minded in this however I hope to bring a positive spin. is asked to come 15 minutes early for some extra one on one time. Are you being asked to pay for it? Did the instructor voluntarily suggest this solution and is willing to do it? If it is at a YMCA, this is prime swim lesson season so if you are not asked to pay extra and the instructor volunteered this, they are actually losing money while trying to support . What a blessing to have an instructor willing to make the extra effort and not just ask you to come a different time. Make it a " lucky you, you get to spend more time swimming " situation. The other mom is out to try to get her money's worth. Unfortunately it's human nature. At my daughter's Y, when the kids instruction time is over, it is adult lap swim. The adults complain EVERY week that the kids are not getting out of the pool fast enough for them. Meanwhile they have the whole middle of the pool to start thier exercise. And these are regularly developing kids with the exception of . (Her instructor actually told the adults to stop being babies!!) Dealing with people who have no understanding of our lives and our kids SUCKS. Sometimes I get angry and it only makes ME miserable. People who do not live it and who I just come into contact with for a season, like swim lessons, will move out of my life. I hope they might learn to appreciate our kids and who they are but it is actually their loss if they don't and I feel sorry for them.
