Guest guest
Was this baby trached? If not, then we should look at the heart dx, pulmonary issues, possible reflux etc. to explain why the baby is alarming all night, and hopefully find justification there for overnight nursing. Constant desatting is a justifiable medical reason, and I'm surprised the hospital is discharging him in this condition. Do you know what's up in this regard so we can find some dx for them to stand on. ---I know they don't want to, but they would be right to refuse to bring him home in this condition. linda in Ma. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Yuka~ I see we're all on the same page-this baby should not be discharged in this condition. Nor should the parents be asked to care for him alone. I know this isn't the " helpful words " and support they were looking for- but it's truth that will protect and possibly save their child. Good luck, in Ma. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
