Adrenal Saliva Test and Hormone Creams

Val - Thanks for your responses to my posts from yesterday. It was

very helpful information. Someone on the realthyroidhelp board told me

that I should have been off the progesterone cream at least two weeks

before taking the adrenal saliva test. Have you ever heard of this? My

doctor did not mention anything about it when he gave me the test but

that does not surprise me as he has not been very knowledgeable about

much so far in this process. Anyways...just checking to see what you

thought. Maybe I will re-do them later this month if that is the case.

I do not think the progrsterone would affect the cortisol part of the

testing btu it will screw up the validity of the progesterone testing.

If creams or oral sex hormones are used they shoud only be tested in

serum. this from the doctor I wil be seeing soon and he had valid

reasons for it though I would have to hunt through his emails to find

this info again to relate.
