I am so happy that at last my ME/CFS doctor is happy to give me a low

dose of Florinef to support my very weak adrenal function. It has

taken a severe adrenal crash which showed up the salt retention

problem for her to agree but now she is happy to prescribe it for me

along with 5mg Prednisolone and extra h/c as needed (usually only

2.5).

As I am 60 next Tuesday I feel at last I have a chance to really

improve my health.

I take 2 grains Armour and 25 thyroxine daily and she also wants me

to take some DHEA cos I tested low in one saliva test. However I

don't want to add this yet cos it could cause some confusion as to

what is going on. Before taking the steroid my DHEA used to be over

the range which showed I had a completely messed up pathway which I

guess might well be because I have been poisoned with both mercury

and nickel.

Mercury is now much much lower cos I had all my amalgams removed 5

years ago and have chelated a bit on and off but last year nickel was

still too high. I am using daily magnesium injections and this

should help to get rid of the nickel plus my muscles do feel much

better.

Its so great to have a doctor who listens to me even though I have to

pay privately for this. There is no way the NHS would treat me but

my GP should be monitoring my electrolytes to make sure they are ok

and my ME/CFS doctor is writing to my GP to this effect.

Oh well its only taken 29 years to get all the stuff prescribed that

I need!

Pam
