And oral airway won't work unless she's sedated-gag reflex. another option is a lower jaw repositioner, which might keep the tongue from falling back. (stress might) The positive pressure of a CPAP is supposed to keep her open. So, no good answers really, except maybe working out some seat arrangement that keeps her and her head upright till you can have the T&A surgery. You'd have to reserve something like that for sleep only to ever get her to accept it. still needs to sleep on her side, or she'll occlude. (had inconclusive sleep study 2 yrs ago) She also has micrognathia.
