Guest guest
Gosh, I sure have been posting a lot lately. Sorry bout that! Anyway...I have another question, this time regarding blood pressure. I used to be hypertense...usually read about 140/90 and the dr. put me on BP meds. When I got on to HC and Armour last year, I noticed my BP dropping and decided to go off the meds. For a long long time, my BP stayed within healthy ranges and continued to stay off BP meds.....even after coming off of Armour and switching to Cytomel, and even after upping and lowering HC countless times. 2 weeks ago I went in to have it tested and it was high again. 142/90. I decided to go in again today, and the first time she read it , it was 139/89, and then the nurse told me to sit a while and take deep breaths. She redid the pressure and this time it was 128/78!!!!! She told me my BP is high when I come in to see her, because I don't sit and rest first. If this is true, then do I have high blood pressure or not...because my normal life is not spent 'sitting' and 'resting'. Are we supposed to test while resting? And is it dangerous then to have it in the 140/90 range the rest of the day? Thanks Naffy
