I just went with a friend to see a new doc re treatment for her thyroid in similar fashion you talked about. She asked me to go along to listen and for support She left Dommisse's just published paper with him. He declared she did not have a thyroid problem, her numbers were in range and that Dommisse is not mainstream. Closed book. He was so pompous and looked anything but healthy himself AND his hands were ice-cold! I told my friend its not worth going to these guys, its not good for us, makes us feel like shit, pardon the french. I told her she knew what to do because she has read every book on thyroid, has experimented and knows A LOT. She went home and fixed herself with self-medication. Its too bad we need to be reminded every so often that there are so many self-righteous docs out there who do us no good whatsoever other than give us BP meds and antibiotics if we need them. thanks for listening to my rant madeleen > > Where do these idiots get trained?
