confused about thyroid dumps...

I realized that after all this time reading on this site I still don't

completely understand the concept of a thyroid dump ... I know it

means that thyroid is getting dumped into the cells all at once, but

is it a reaction to taking cortisol? or is it a reaction to taking too

much thyroid meds?

Sad - I was once sharp and am now so slow to understand things.
