Guest guest
>>Is it possible to have a mini thyroid dump? I mean one that just lasts a couple of hours then temp &pulse goes back to normal. It seems that I was having a thyroid dump this afternoon with a temp of 99.4 & a pulse of 105. It lasted for a short time. I was about 15 minutes late getting my 4th dose of HC after these temps & my temp suddenly went down to 97.9. << Have you changed ANY dosing of either recently or something else that might be affecting it? It almost sounds liek hypoglycemia and an adrenaline release. Did you need ot eat shortly there after? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
>>how long does a thyroid dump ususally last?<< It would depend on how much excess T3 is built up in your blood and how fast you had raised cortisol. If you juststarted on 20-30mg HC cold turkey and had a free T3 say of 5.5, I believe you could land ina hospital with thyrotoxicosis! But if your T3 is only say 4.5 and you ramp up HC gradually and get a dump it is unlikely to last over 3-4 days and be pretty mild though uncomfortable. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
