RE Anesthesia for HC patients- colonoscopy on Tuesday

Hi Val, I feel so much better and seem to be doing well on 135 mg Armour in

3 increasing doses from noon to 6, and 20-30 mg HC 7.5, 5, 5, 2.5 at a

minimum, with additional doses of 2.5 in between depending on how I feel. I

seem to need a little in between the 7.5 and 5, then another 2.5 late

afternoon. Also using sea salt about 2t a day, sometimes 3t....depending on

how I feel. If I'm exceptionally tired and foggy, drinking a glass of water

with 1/2 t is a real pick me up...but the HC is as well. I'm finding my way

with it, still very limited activity, almost nothing at night, so I can get

to bed before 10pm so I can work.

Tomorrow is a liquids only day, then colonoscopy Tuesday am. I'm not

supposed to take any multivitamins or supplements. Not sure about the

Armour, but I'm planning to do HC and sea salt as usual....and more HC than

normal as I'll have an IV sedative.

Any suggestions other than what you've recommended to Debbie?

Unless he gives oyu Medrol or HC in the IV I would take at least 20-50mg

extra in the AM before the proceedure depending on what your current

dose is.
