Is Exercise Really A Bad Idea?

I've seen the threads on insomnia and though there is good info, my

situation is a little different. I've had insomnia for days. If I'm

lucky, I'll get 1.5 hours of sleep but that's after 48 hours.

Considering the lack of sleep I'm thinking fairly clearly, but it

can't be good and I'm sure it will catch up. My thyroid labs are below

and not nearly as bad as a lot of folks labs. I haven't had saliva

cortisol/dhea tested in over a year but see a new doc mid-April. I'm

taking 20-30 HC (I've been intermittently fighting sinus infection so

the dosages have been fluctuating). Not taking any thyroid meds yet,

but would probably be considered very clinical! My temps are low with

basals being mid to upper 96 (although without a longer sleep cycle,

I'm not sure it's a true basal). My question is with regard to

exercise. I haven't used this as I didn't want to stress the adrenals,

but am wondering if some light exercise would help me sleep. I'm sure

the lack of it is taking its own toll and I'm just trying to hang in

there until then. Oh, if it helps, I'm also having trouble regulating

temperature - one minute too warm the next I need a sweater.

Thanks for any help you may have!!

November 2007:

TSH 1.44 (.35-5.5)

FT4 1.2 (0.8-1.9)

March 2008:

TSH 1.856 (.35-5.5)

FT4 1.13 (.61-1.76)

FT3 3.4 (2.3-4.2)

If it matters, was taking 40-60HC at time of test.
