Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I found your email to be very interesting. How did you come to the conclusion you dont need cortef? Briefly about me, I switched from synthroid to armour 1 1/2 yrs ago....I made it to 2 3/4 grains and went hyper...now I can only tolerate 1- 1 1/2 gr before getting jittery and I'm doing worse than ever. I've been through several " top docs " and I still struggle...I'm actually just starting synthroid again...it may sound crazy but I dont think my body handles the t3 well (even though I probobly need it) I did one saliva test last summer and it wasnt that bad...so I'm not sure what to do? Do you have hashi's? I tried the iodine a couple of time but dont do well with it. Did Dr Rind give you a protocal that makes sense to you? -------------- Original message -------------- Hi there, Someone wanted to know how my phone consult with Dr. Rind went. (I can't remember who it was who wanted to know, sorry.) Dr. Rind is extremely knowledgeable! Very helpful! He studied my labs and history VERY thoroughly. Because of that phone consult, I know now what exactly is going on in my body, and he gave me a specific plan of action. I feel less afraid about my future, because my body seems under control now. It was an expensive and time-consuming phone call, to be sure!! But when one wants accuracy & knowledge, one must pay for it. And it is worth every penny to me! Anyone who wants to know more details may email me privately and I am happy to tell you more. Because I know now that I do not need HC, I am withdrawing from the group for awhile. I don't have time to read all the emails lately. But thank you to everyone who participates here. I learned so much from you! I want to also put in a good word for Dr. Flechas, before I leave. Anyone interested in using iodine can go through his lab for a loading test and get a free consult with him. I have talked with a lot of doctors in my life, and Dr. Flechas is certainly one of the kindest, most generous that I have met; not to mention that he is one of the foremost knowledgeable iodine docs. He really does care about patients. So, toodle-doo and goodbye! God bless you all in your health pursuits! Kathy Lapp
