Guest guest
Hi everyone. From what I understand if someone with a thyroid disorder also has adrenal fatigue, thyroid meds will not work optimally until the adrenal issues are corrected. Is this true? For those of you with a thyroid disorder and adrenal fatigue, do you find that the thyroid meds kick in quickly as the adrenal issues improve or does it take some time? I am sure each case is different, but if possible I am trying to get some idea of how long it takes. I have Hashimoto's and was recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue and low hormone levels. Despite being on a fairly high dose of Armour, I continue to have many hypothyroid symptoms. Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you! Usually the cortisl must be fairly close to high enough before the body can utilize the thyroid properly whihc then allows the adrenals to heal. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
