Guest guest
hi i also tested as high cortisol on mutliple saliva-cortisol tests. and i will puff up when adding sea salt. -i **finally just tested my aldosterone and renin (at 10:20am and day 6 of my cycle) and they both came back a bit High!!! I would suggest that others test their Aldosterone and REnin also; i think we hypots A &R are affected more than we realize!?? but no way to prove it unless a lot of us start testing.... -- my blood tests (as hashis/hypot) and **undertreated/mistreated on synthroid have always had Sodium come back Low-Normal and potassium mid-normal but Neither have ever tested as " High-Normal " so, as for salt/diet, I may?? get puffy if i don't have any salt (and i do crave it a *bit in potato chips Or soy sauce i stir fry) but perhaps that's because i never used the salt shaker.. (didn't crave it That much so what do folks with High cortisol-Adrenal fatigue do about salt? (and potassium?? thanks -Carol ps my longest lasting and biggest symptoms may be related to this discusson of electrolytes.. > > I have Redmond's Sea Salt and it seems when I start drinking it in my > water my face looks puffy, my hands feel swollen and I retain water > and I wonder then if it's ok to be doing this.
