Feedback on Lab Results

I would like feedback on these lab results and have two questions:

Labs are from February when I had not been taking any thyroid medication. I had

previously been on Levothroid for 3 mo.- only option at the time, but went off

because I

didn't feel well and wanted to find a new doctor to prescribe Armour. Levothroid

was also

messing up my menstrual cycle which I was starting to regulate with a TCM

practitioner. I

had also stopped IsoCort for 3 weeks (had been on 1-2 pellets previously) to

take the

ACTH stim test.

Diagnos-Techs

Note: I wasn't taking any thyroid meds for 1mo. while finding/testing with new

doctor:

TSH 4.5 (reference 0.4-2.5)

Free T4 1.3 (0.8-1.9)

Free T3 2.62 (1.8-4.2)

Reverse T3 21.3 (9.0-35.0)

Anti-TG Antibody <32 (previously was <20)

Anti-TPO <14 (previously was 20)

Adrenal Stress Index (improved from Nov07)

8am Free Cortisol 14 (13-24nM)

Noon Free Cortisol 7 (13-24nM)

5pm Free Cortisol 3 (13-24nM)

11pm Free Cortisol 3 (13-24nM)

Cortisol Burden 27

DHEA 4 (3-10ng/ml)

Insulin Fasting <3 (3-12uLU/ml)

Post-prandial <3 (5-20ulU/ml - depressed

Total salivary SIgA 7 - depressed

Urine Free Cortisol 22.8 (4.0-50.0mcg/24hr)

ACTH Stim Test

9.3ug/dl before, 25.9 ug/dl after (felt at ease and calm after that test! Could

that be what

it feels like to have higher baseline free cortisol?)

Ferritin: 49ng/ml Oct07

Now, I have started IsoCort and Armour Thyroid. My ND did not test in Feb for

B12 or

ferritin and started me on 0.5 grain of armour, but I am increasing since

symptoms are

starting to return (initial 2-3 weeks on 0.5 grain, I felt pretty

good...definitely better than

the previous months).

1. Should I retest ferritin or test B12 at this point? I never tested B12- what

will it tell me?

I do take B-complex.

2. Do the adrenal results seem good enough to tolerate slowly increasing Armour?

I am in

the reference range now, but near the low end.

I'd like to keep getting better, so any advice/thoughts are appreciated. My HMO

will test

my TSH and only Free T4 in another week or so. They don't allow Free T3!!! Hope

that

petition goes somewhere...

Thanks,
