I need some help brainstorming. As you all can relate has SEVERAL

doctors. They are all so wonderful. There are some that are just

superstars. I want to show them my apreciation and I can't figure out

how to do that. I am really good at baking and at Christmas time I

made them cookies. I want to send a card to the cardiologist that

performed open heart surgery on him 2 years ago (sad I know) but I want

to send a gift or something along with it. I know that he has toms of

money and can buy nice things, I want to get him something special

though. Any Ideas? Also, what type of gifts do you give for holidays

etc. Another wonderful person I like to think of them as angels, is

his Early Intervention Specialist. She definately goes above and

beyond but I don't know what to do or give to them! Please let me

know. Also, do you all invite the doctors or specialists to your

childrens birthdays? doesn't have any friends, but they are all

his friends, Is that weird to invite them to a party to celebrate his

2nd birthday in August?

Thanks for the help!

,

To thank some doctors/ service providers I made donations in their

name to different charities.

Cardiologist- Amercian Heart Association

Plastic Surgeon- Children's Hospital

Speeach and Language pathologist- Make a Wish Foundation

Orthopedic - boundless playgrounds

Many more...I donated $10.00-$20.00 depending on tight money was.

For the Nurses that took care of I cooked a ziti lunch.

Almost 10 years later the nurses still talk about the lunch...

I also make a basket for the people in the recovery room as a thank

you before we leave...gum, candy,etc

I am sure thet they will appreciate any thing you decide
