Guest guest
Ooooh, so maybe that is why, after two years on Armour Thyroid I still tire, yet, since getting Adrenal Exhaustion a year ago, the AT, over 60mg, causes heart palpitations and anxiety!!! I'm supposed to be on 90mg/day but, I put myself down to 60mg as it makes me too anxious. My AM cortisol is 5, and 1-something the rest of the day. Since I'm starting a new bio-identical topical hormone prescription I'm waiting a couple of weeks before I get my new thyroid blood tests done that my new doctor asked for. It will be interesting to see how he will change my AT Rx. Homekeeper > Most with low cortils will not be able to tolerate Armour. They will get hyper symptoms which are not truly hyper but rather adrnaline reactions to the thyroid meds. Usually the cortisl must be fairly close to high enough before the body can utilize the thyroid properly whihc then allows the adrenals to heal.
