Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to the group, dx'd with adrenal fatigue and estrogen dominance last week. I suspect, based on my symptoms that i bottomed out adrenally 10-12 years ago. I cannot communicate my exhaustion (and I have three kids aged 6 and under) and every major life event (engagement, marriage, moving house, etc)has resulted in me getting very, very ill, weight loss, etc. Anyway, my doctor is treating my adrenal fatigue but is not interested in my thyroid. I don't know what my thyroid is, but i am wondering if I should order a test in the post and find out (a good test with free T3,all that). But maybe the doc would be angry if I came to her with results as she just wants to treat the adrenals and estrogen dominance at this time? When I look at the table on Dr. Lam's site, I have all adrenal fatigue profile, down to blood type and being a highly sensitive person (that label follows me everywhere for years now!) I do not have the symptoms of hypothyroid. I would like to post my adrenal hormone results but not sure how to do that here. I do not know what stage of adrenal fatigue I am in, or if I have adrenal insufficiency (dr didn't say). I'll post the results and if it doesn't make sense, please let me know! Test Patient Results Reference Range Cortisol 3.4 13-24 Cortisol 2.2 5-8 Cortisol 0.7 4-7 Cortisol 0.5 1-3 DHEA 1.5 2-10 DHEA 1.5 2-10 My Serotonin and GABA look really good but I know i don't feel depressed at all, just really, really tired for years and wondering how I am going to make it through raising a family when I cannot handle any stress! I've not been able to live with people without getting totally exhausted by it all. I've always needed to live alone to have any chance at being a productive person and well. However, now I live with four other people and rarely have alone time. It is hard for me. Thanks for this group!
