Guest guest
WOW that potassium is dangerously low. You need to start Slow release potasisum ASAP. I will send you a site to order ti from but I woudl get som eOTC to start with and start with 5- 99mg tablets spread through the day and get the 20mEq SR potassu=iuj form the sit I will send tou adn start with 1 nd go to 2 a day in a week. I would reduce B12 to half what you have been taking. Cod Liver Oil has too much vitamin A to be a good replacement for Vitamin d, it raises that too much before it raises the D enogh I take Puritain's Pride Vitamin D 10,000IU a day they sell a 5000IU potency gel tab. Nothign else sticks out but your FT3 will need to come up a bit more usually between 5-6.2 is good level whiel on T3 onyl. Your way supressed TSH indicates some reisstance still . Maybe the potasisum si causing some of this. Do yiu have alot of muscle poain, spasms? http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Hi Val, > I posted my lab report under files -our labs. Can you check them for me. I definitely have LOW Vit D. I've been taking a good quality cod liver oil for 8 months daily. I thought this was supposed to be one of the best ways to assimilate Vit D. Can you tell me a good Vit D supplement to start on? > Potassium is also Low 3.0. What is the ideal and what should I do about this? What role does potassium play in all of this? > > B-12 is 886. I'm on 5000mcg daily. I assume I should just keep this up or do something different? > > And if you could please let me know anything else you see from the labs I would very much appreciate it. > > Thank you Again > Your appreciated > Sage > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Val- thanks for going over my labs. I just returned from the health food store and got some otc potassium. I was feeling like this was really low too. I bought Nature's Life Potassium Gluconate. I wasn't sure which one to get. I've taken 1 just about 1/2 hour a go. It 4:00 here should I try to get 3 or so in before bed or is that too many? I will check my email and order STAT. I'll also order the Puritan's Vit D and start on 10,000IU daily. I don't really have muscle pain or spasms. When I get a massage I'm really sore but I don't have pain unless muscles are massaged. Regarding the resistance, are you saying idealy I shouldn't be showing that much resistance even though I haven't cleared yet? Where can I read more specifically on understanding the way suppressed TSH and resistance and what causes this. On the B-12 I will back down to 1/2 of my 5000mcg. My level was 885 I though 1000 was idea. I'm continuing to stay on the 30mg HC regimine. I've had a few shakes and took 2.5 ONLY. It helped. Thank you again Sage > > Hi Val, > > I posted my lab report under files -our labs. Can you check them for me. I definitely have LOW Vit D. Guest guest
You will have to play it by feel with how the potassium agrees with you ,It cvan be hard on your stomahc (the OTC stuff) But I would take an many as oyu comfortably can wihtout making yourself ill with it. I did nto find reference to that supressed TSH from any one site just from experience seeing people's lasb the last 15 + years on email groups. But a good place to do some research in that area is this website: http://nahypothyroidism.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Val- thanks for going over my labs.
