Guest guest
WHile your iron levels look good that ferriitin is showing some inflamnmation. Yes I woudl think you could swap even onthe dosing and just change out 1-2 doses a day so ti si not a huge chnge to your system if iti is a bit differnt. Some of us need even more than 100mcg so dont; limit yourself by numbers, get the temps and pulse right . http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Hey Val, > > I have never had a full iron panel done until last week. What do you suggest for the dose of Cynomel?? Or I guess what would be the equivalent of Cynomel to Cytomel on this large a dose. Can I take it up to 100mcg and see or do you think that will be too much for start. > > Thanks! > Cindy > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Ok thank you. So the inflammation?? I have been having much more back and neck pain lately. Is this a matter of needing an increase in T3 or something else...maybe hormonal?? My progesterone was low (1.7 - Dr. says needs to be 10-20), estradial was good (96) and my T was ok at 82 (14-76) but as always my FreeT was low - .5 (.3-1.6) with a high SHBG (18-114). I have always had trouble with my T levels and high SHBG - I would love to figure this one out.> Hey Val,>> I have never had a full iron panel done until last week. Guest guest
Some people DO get inflammaiton releif from progesterone I am just not one of them, but you certinly shoudl try it. I have high SHBG and unfortujnately the high FT3 I need promotes it. Haven't yet figured out a wrk aorund just take enough of the hormones it binds ot overcome it. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Ok thank you. I have always had trouble with my T levels and high SHBG - I would love to figure this one out. > Hey Val, > > I have never had a full iron panel done until last week. Guest guest
Ok, Dr. increased my Progesterone dose today so maybe this will help. I will also start on T injections too since I've tried all the other forms and it doesn't seem to help. Two more questions and I'll leave you alone on this one...could the Low free T cause inflammation too?? and... Should I cut back on my iron or just try to figure out what is causing the inflammation?? Thanks again Val!!> Hey Val,>> I have never had a full iron panel done until last week. Guest guest
I would stop the iron as your other iron levels are fine. I ahve not heard of lwo testosterone causing inflammation but I have not really looked iut up either. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Ok, Dr. increased my Progesterone dose today so maybe this will help.  I will also start on T injections too since I've tried all the other forms and it doesn't seem to help.    Two more questions and I'll leave you alone on this one...could the Low free T cause inflammation too??  and...
