RT3 that near the top of the range is a problem regardless of the

ratio.

translating into the range of units we talk in yours is

250/31 = 8 = not good, we are looking for 20 plus.

Thanks Nick,

Yikes...more to consider. I think I need to deal with my adrenals and possibly

iron. Looking to go on Armour, and now it looks like I might needs some T3

supplementing as well.

Guess I'll have to find a sympathetic doctor as my current one just wants me to

take Synthroid...which I'm not taking!

Natural won't help with that much RT3 around

That would be even worse, T3 only is what will help the most. There

are prescription free sources if your Dr won't prescribe enough.

The RT3 web sites will tell you lots about the process

HI Nick,

I looked on www.thyroid-rt3.com and could not find where one gets prescription

free T3. Can you enlighten me?

Thanks!

Also, my TSH was high and my T4 low:

TSH 4.69 uIU/mL (0.27 - 4.20)

Free T4 1.1 ng/dL (0.9 - 2.1)

Does that make a difference in my approach to dealing with high RT3?

Thanks again,

Dorothy
