Switching to NT from Cytomel and wondering what is going on

I began my switch to NT a few weeks ago.

Last Thursday, I made my most recent NT increase/Cytomel decrease to:

Cytomel 31.25-31.25-25

NT 0.5 gr- 0 gr- 1.5 gr

(I dropped 12.5 Cytomel from 3rd dose, and that is where I added 1 grain NT).

My Dr rind temps prior to the above change were 98.6 or above.

My temps since above change:

Fri 98.8

Sat 98.5

Sun none

Mon 98.4

Tues 98.5

For the past coupe days, my 1st temp has been the highest with the other 2

progressively lower. By 9pm, my temp is down to 98.1.

My basal today was 98.3, which I believe is above the suggested range and

therefore suggests hypo. BUT, my drrind avg is low.

Symptoms since above change:

Sat - very swollen hands and legs AND gained 1 pound

Sun - no more intense swelling; lost 1.5 pounds

Mon - afternoon migraine which goes away before bedtime

Tues - very hot in the AM including hot feet; same afternoon migraine which goes

away before bedtime

My migraines of the past 2 aftns seem to correlate with lower temps and the

progressively lower temps thru the day. I don't know why I'm having this

problem.

Can you guys help me figure out what is going on?

Why have my temps dropped?

Why do I have high AM temps with progressively lower temps thru the day?

What do I need to do?

Thanks so much!

A high basal suggests HYPER nto hypo. Being hyper may be beating your

adrneals and as you add more thyroi dthrouigh the day it may be more

than your adrneals can handle thus the droopping temps. IWhtout labs

this is a guess.

Thanks Val!

I have been thinking that basals are hyper, but it is confusing when the avgs

appear hypo. Today's basal was 98.4 - again hyper.

What do you think I should do about my situation?

Would being in this situation (as you describe) cause me to have hypo symptoms

later in the day, during the times that my temps are low?

Thanks so much!!

Thanks Val!

So do you think I should drop another 12.5 of Cytomel?

If so, where should I drop the 12.5?

Maybe from the 1st or 2nd dose?

Here is what I am now taking:

Cytomel 31.25-31.25-25

NT 0.5 gr - 0gr - 1.5 gr

Thanks again!
