A few questions:

I would like to start the T3 only protocol

1.What sequence should I do things in?

2.Should I try to add t3 with my levoxyl and see my adrenal tolerance level and

add HC as I go along? If so, do I then wait for adrenals to stabilize before

adding T3?

3.Should I wait for ferritin to be in the 70-90 range, before starting T3 only?

4.Will the amount of HC I am taking be sufficient to go on T3 only?

I have posted on the adrenal forum as well.

Thanks in advance.

currently. I add about .25 a week. If I increase too much I get electrolyte

imbalance (muscle aches, weight loss) and usually takes me a week to recover

from it before I can add more T3. Please advise on how to increase T3. What

should I do differently to increase T3? I just added Ashwagandha ( I am not sure

if it is helping).

The step-by-step how-to of our T3-only protocol is here (as are the answers to

most of your questions, sequence, etc.) at Moderator Nick's excellent website:

How to start page:

http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm

Main page:

http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/

Here's some general info from those pages:

You may not tolerate T3 well until iron and adrenals are both in good order.

We have not seen much good results with T4 plus T3. T3-only is what we have

seen work.

Hope this helps.
