Guest guest
> >Though I am at 93.75 of T3 I am not hyper at all, in fact I feel quite tired. I don't have a fast pulse, my heart beats slow, and my adrenals don't act stressed, and I feel perhaps I am at a slump where my T4 is almost not producing but my receptors are blocked and that is why I feel so tired. Why I feel I need to have my thyroid tested to see where I am at. Sounds like you need an increase then, you are not on a high dose > >What thyroid hormones do I need to test for? > FT3 as a minimum. >When do I stop my T3 and when can I resume? I think I stop at my last dose which is 6pm, and then the next day have the blood drawn and after it is drawn then take my T3. Would that be suffice? Take your 6pm as usual and get an early morning blood draw > >If my blood is drawn at 8am, and my dose was suppose to be taken at 8am, do I double my T3 at my 10am dose since it was skipped? I would simply take that days doses all 2 hours later making your last dose 8pm instead of 6 Have you been on T3 for greater than 12 weeks?? Have you tried an increase to see what happens Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com

Guest guest
> > Have you been on T3 for greater than 12 weeks?? > > Have you tried an increase to see what happens > > Nick > Yes, I have been on T3 for almost 5 months due to very low ferritin which was a 25. I have been taking iron the same time I have been slowly increasing T3. Then I watch my adrenals to see how they respond. I was on American cytomel, then now I am on Grossman cynomel. When switching over I found cynomel was much stronger. I just increased 6.75 yesterday. I know I am still hypo, hair is dry, and I am finding that my feet and hands are getting more dry. The good side, the cortisol belly is slowly going away, and some of the edema. My nails are stronger. But I am feeling more tired than normal. I think I am at the slump where T4 is about stopped, receptors are blocked. I would equate this to having a sailing ship caught in the middle of the ocean and there isn't a breeze to be found. You are stuck and not moving. I presume this happens? Thanks,

" Most people " need between 75 and 125 BUT people with other causes of resistance can end up needing more. There is no harm in increasing a little at a time if you watch temperature and pulse A drop in temperature after taking a dose of T3 is a sign of adrenals not coping Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
