Guest guest
I am in the process of clearing rt3 - week 14. Some of the symptoms have really improved during this process, like the depression, but some actually got worse - my voice is hoarssed again. How could it be that after my cells started getting more t3 I lost my voice again? Could it be that my thyroid is getting a bit bigger because I am hyper, and thus putting pressure on my vocal cords? My voice just returned to its crummy state it was before starting this process. During the last 3 months, since starting the treatment, it was much better Could it be the adrenals causing this? (taking 35 mg right now). Maybe after clearence I need more/less HC? how would I know? When I just started taking HC in the first couple of days, my voice was just gone, so maybe the problem comes from there? thank you

Thyroid size will reduce if anything, your TSH will be suppressed and hence it won't be stimulated >My voice just returned to its crummy state it was before starting this process. >During the last 3 months, since starting the treatment, it was much better > >Could it be the adrenals causing this? If anything after clearance you may need less HC, it's worth graphing temperatures for a few days to see how stable they are Nick
Guest guest
Then how come I read in so many places that one of the hyperthyroidism symptoms is an inlarged thyroid gland? To: RT3_T3 Sent: Tue, August 3, 2010 1:37:07 PMSubject: Re: hoarseness actually getting worse after clearence > >How could it be that after my cells started getting more t3 I lost my voice >again? Hashi attacks can cause that, treating it won't make it enlarge though even if you go hyper. Nick
Guest guest
Delighted to hear your depression has improved! Regarding HC: Moderator Val needed less HC after RT3 clearance. But I am out of my depth on this, the folks over at the adrenal group know lots more than I do about if you need to decrease HC, and if yes, how to do so, I think you have the link already but just in case not, here it is: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > > I am in the process of clearing rt3 - week 14. Guest guest
Ariela, when I started taking Armour, during the process of rising it, my voice was very cracky. It was something I experienced during all the process of rising dose. I think my thyroid was reacting to all these hormonal changes. It went away after a while. I am very happy you are experiencing clearance! > > I am in the process of clearing rt3 - week 14.
