Guest guest
Ok. I'm on SRT3 and just upped my dose to 37.5 mcg twice a day. Oral temps have been running right around 98.6 F for the last 4 days. Basal temp hasn't moved from about 97 F. Now, I go to take my oral temp about noon and it is 97.8 F. I feel that is strange so thought I would try again in an hour. I did and it is now 97.4 F and over that hour I physically got colder. I would greatly appreciate any thoughts on what is going on. Unless you have changed batch of T3 and they got the compounding wrong it is most likely to be adrenal Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
It's the same batch I've been using since uping the dosage, so it shouldn't be unless they really screwed up and mixed up some pills in the bottles. So, if it is the adrenals. I would need to up my doses on the HC? I'm on 10 mg breakfast, 10 mg lunch, 5 mg dinner. > Unless you have changed batch of T3 and they got the compounding wrong > it is most likely to be adrenal > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com > > For lots of good information of adrenal issues > > http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ > > and the adrenal group on > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >

The adrenal group is a better place to ask but most people do 4 times a day on HC with a tapered dose 5 days or so of temperatures 3 times a day and averaging as per the link on the site is the way to find out Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Nick is right about adrenals. This has happened to me more times than I can count -- increase t3 and temps drop. Take a dose of HC and they go back up. You can always test this by taking some extra HC and see if your temps go up within an hour or so. If so, well, you have your answer. You are not on a high dose, so maybe you need more or you may need to just change HOW you are dosing. The adrenal group opens back up on Friday. Guest guest
Based on how everything has gone I would agree that it is the adrenals. Here is a general question on temperatures. I'm seeing increases in my oral temp through the day as I increase my dose of SRT3 (provided by adrenals are getting enough HC.) But, my basal temp is not changing. What is the reason for that and can I continue to increase my T3 dose when my oral temps are pretty close to 98.6 now? > > > > > Unless you have changed batch of T3 and they got the compounding wrong > > > it is most likely to be adrenal > > > > > > Nick > > > > > > -- > > > > > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > > > > > www.thyroid-rt3.com > > > > > > For lots of good information of adrenal issues > > > > > > http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ > > > > > > and the adrenal group on > > > > > > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > > > > > >

Not sure but it may be you are running low in T3 overnight and that a larger night time dose may help that It could also be your cortisol production is slow to start in the morning If you have not cleared yet then the resistance and blocked receptors may be making it worse Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
