Guest guest
You shoudl have labs done to determine what your levels are, This wil ltell us if the issue is tissue resistance or poor absorbtion. Have you had cortisol and RECENT iron panel run? These I woudl do as they both can interfere wiht it working. No the sex hormoens should not be enoguh to cause this. I take fairly high dose estrogne and stil am not hypo. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > I started taking cytomel in March and have slowly built up to 130gms per day without any adverse effects. I have been supplementing iron and with isocort. I have had no change whatsoever and am now starting to think that this protocol wont work for me. I'm pretty much desperate it this point. Worse time is afternoon cronic tiredness. I am on a low dose of estrogen/progestrone awell (started 6 weeks ago)since estrogen really low? Could this be interfering? I was anorexic when I was a teenager (30 years ago) could this have caused permanent damage? Thank you! > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Thanks No I havnt had cortisol or iron done since I started but will do. I am pretty much desperate since there seems to be nothing that will stabilise. Do you think the anorexia has anything to do with it? I have have thyroid problems for the past 20 years and only started to treat only 5 years ago without any long term positive effects. No results with synthetics but did take an italian armour type called cinetic for a year with great results for about 10 months and then effects slowly wore off and back to hypo again. Again thanks > > I started taking cytomel in March and have slowly built up to 130gms per day without any adverse effects. I have been supplementing iron and with isocort. Guest guest
Anorexia is VERY hard on adrnelas. If your cortils is low, then T3 cannto get ot the cells and may be just pooling in your blood. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Thanks > > No I havnt had cortisol or iron done since I started but will do. Guest guest
I thought as much. I'm amazed that no doctor has thought of this?? I've seen at least 20 over the last five years and all completely gobsmacked...frightening!!!! I will get my tests done and then get back to you. I really really appreciate it.
